From The Director
Greetings Fellow Lettermen-
It’s a championship atmosphere in Happy Valley – you can feel and see it everywhere you go in State College and beyond, it’s infectious.
There’s talk of Heisman awards – the first to potentially be brought back to Happy Valley since John Cappelletti in 1973. Barkley, McSorley – high octane. The stage is set an come September 2, the players will march to the cadence set forth by James Franklin, Joe Moorhead, and Brent Pry, who, amongst many other integral parts, marched the Nittany Lions to an 11-2 regular season record and a Rose Bowl Appearance in Pasadena. Although the squad fell short in the Rose Bowl, there are high hopes this year to avenge that loss and make a run at a national title.
I hope to see many of you this year at the stadium. It’s going to be a special season in Happy Valley, and so in closing, WE ARE!
