Remembering Letterman Ralph Perri

By Jack Baronas '75

I regret to inform you of the passing of our letterman Ralph Perri, "75" from complications due to Parkinson's disease on July 23, 2017. Known affectionately as the "King of Butler, PA", He was an integral part of Penn State Football from 1971-1974. While playing primarily on the "Foreign Team" he epitomized what it meant "to give them a good look."

Nittany Notes: PSU-Iowa kick time set

Penn State’s game with Iowa will kick at 7:30 p.m. in Iowa City, according to www.gopsusports.com. That means the Nittany Lions will be playing back-to-back night games. This week’s game with Georgia State will also kick at 7:30 p.m.

Thus far, the Nittany Lions have a pair of night games on the schedule. The Week 4 contest is a rematch of last year’s 41-14 Penn State victory at Beaver Stadium. Penn State has won three consecutive games in the series. The squad’s last visit to Kinnick Stadium was a 38-14 win back in 2012.
